Aikido Uchi-deshi Japan September 2015
I purchased 2 of these Gi to take to Japan for a 20 day Aikido training camp. We were live in students and trained twice a day. The temperatures were between 24 and 38 degrees with a humidity in the high 90's. Tatami mats were hard as rock and took a few blisters and bruises to adjust. No air conditioning, just fans blowing around hot air.
These Gi with stood the demanding Aikido routine's without falter. The ventilation was a welcome addition coupled with the light weight cotton fabric. Drying of the Gi was over night or in 4 hours during the day. They were easy to pack and didn't take up much room or add additional weight as my Aikido Gi's would have.
I now have 3 of these Adidas Gi as my first introduction to the brand was 3 years ago. The perfect addition for Summer Training, or if you want a lightweight, recognised brand name that can with stand the grappling nature of Martial Arts, then this Gi is for you!
